Quando eu vejo nossos vizinhos brasileiros, vejo um índice muito alto de probreza e entre as menos iguais distribuições das bem entre os paises do mundo. Metodista.br fala que:
Menos de 80 reais. Essa é a quantia com a qual 50 milhões de brasileiros sobrevivem mensalmente. Os dados são da Fundação Getúlio Vargas (RJ). Esse número corresponde a 29% da população do País. O Nordeste é a região que tem o maior índice de pobreza no Brasil. Todos os estados nordestinos têm mais de 50% de sua população abaixo da linha da pobreza, com exceção do Rio Grande do Norte.
The Report on the Human Rights Situation in Brazil by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights says:
The Commission deems it important to include in this report a quick picture of the socioeconomic situation in Brazil, since--in addition to the factors cited previously--the particular imbalances in the distribution of income and opportunities in Brazil are, in the Commission's opinion, the seminal generating factor of situations which breed violence and the violation of human rights.

Em ver de tanta pobreza entre nossos vizinhos, será que o aborto e a homossexualidade podem ser nossas únicas ou principais preocupações na hora de votar?
Isto não é para dizer que os abortos e homossexualidades não preocupem a muitas pessoas, mas estes dois problemas ser as únicas que nos preocupam na hora de votar?
